University of Baltimore: Preserving and Providing Access to Baltimore Television News Station WMAR, 1984–1993

The University of Baltimore’s Special Collections and Archives has completed Phase Two of a major preservation project to digitize the WMAR-TV Collection, supported by a Recordings at Risk grant from CLIR. Memnon partnered on the project to digitize the materials and create long-term preservation masters, access copies, and closed-captioned files, helping ensure the collection’s ongoing accessibility for research and education.
